About me

One of the things that is most difficult for me to write about is my own life. I really prefer to remain anonymous, for that reason also, the short novella that I'm writing I will publish under a pen name. Why? You may wonder. Because, in that way, it is easier to see who are the people really interested in the story and not the person. For the same reason, I will not say where I'm from. I am a 34-year-old woman, who enjoys a good coffee, a good band, and a good book. I like writing and drawing. I also love to learn about the authors of the books that are on the networks today. Each different answer shows how we connect. We all have a reason to write, a person who inspires us, a favorite author, even though the answers are different. For this reason I will also answer the same questions as the people who allowed me to interview them.

Why did I decide to start writing?
I had a clear idea, it was a short idea, but interesting. The first parts I wrote didn't even take up a page, but my partner told me that it had a future. Thanks to a push from him, I immersed myself in writing a somewhat gloomy and intriguing story.

What inspired my work?
More than anything, nightmares I've had.

On which internet pages will I share my work?
At the moment, I don't know. Goodreads probably, and then I'm not sure. I don't like using social networks. 

Do I have a favorite writer?
I really like Agatha Christie.

When will my book be published?
I hope to have it published by October of this year. I have to transcribe it, so I can offer it in English and Spanish. I want to have a large audience, that that's one of the reason for this blog being in both languages. It's a shame I don't know how to speak another one.

Is there a book or poem that marked your life?
Yes. Maybe it's funny, but the first Harry Potter book came into my life at the right time, the book accompanied me  a lot.

Is there any genre that you like the most?
Mystery or fantasy novels.

Do you plan your stories in advance or do you sit back and let your mind flow in the moment? (i.e. are you a planner or an improviser)?
I planned the idea of ​​my story, but when I moved forward with the characters I wrote them as the story progressed.

Besides writing, what other activities do you like to do?
Drawing, listening to music. I like to go for walks, exercise. I also really like to cook, especially pastries.

Is there any advice for people new to the art of writing that you would like to share?
Start with small ideas. Read a lot. If you're going to write in several languages ​​for instance, it's necessary, especially when you observe the differences between hyphens, quotes, etc.

Sobre Mí

Una de las cosas sobre las que mas me esta costando escribir es sobre mi propia vida. Realmente prefiero permanecer anonima, por ese motivo tambien, la novela corta que estoy escribiendo sera publicada bajo un pseudonimo, pero  no es realmente mi nombre. ¿Porque? Se preguntaran. Porque es mas facil de esa forma ver quienes son las personas que realmente se interesan en la historia y no en la persona. Por el mismo motivo no dire de donde soy. Soy una mujer de 34 años, la cual disfruta de un buen cafe, una buena banda de musica, y un buen libro. Disfruto escribir y dibujar.
Tambien me gusta aprender sobre los autores de los libros que hay hoy en dia en las redes. Cada respuesta diferente muestra como nos conectamos. Todos tenemos un porque escribir, una persona que nos inspira, un autor favorito. A pesar de que las respuestas sean diferentes. Por ese motivo, tambien contestare las mismas preguntas que las personas que me permitieron entrevistarlos.

¿Por qué decidí comenzar a escribir?
Tenia una idea clara, era una idea corta, pero interesante. Las primeras partes que escribi no ocupaban siquiera una hoja, pero mi pareja me dijo que tenia futuro. Gracias a un empujon de él, me sumergi a escribir una historia un tanto tétrica e intrigante.

¿Que inspiró mi trabajo?
Mas que nada, pesadillas que he tenido.

¿En qué páginas de internet compartiré mi trabajo?
Por el momento no lo se. Goodreads seguramente, y luego no estoy segura. No me gusta usar redes sociales.

¿Tengo algún escritor favorito?
Me gusta mucho Agatha Christie.

¿Cuando será pblicado mi libro?
Espero tenerlo en Octubre de este año. Tengo que hacer una transcripción para ofrecerlo en Ingles y Español, quiero tener mucha audiencia, ese es uno de los motivos de que este blog este en ambos idiomas. Es una pena que no sé hablar otro.

¿Hay algún libro o poema que marcó su vida?
Sí. Talvez sea gracioso, pero el primer libro de Harry Potter llegó a mi vida en el momento excato, me acompañó muchisimo.

¿Hay algún género que le guste más?
Novelas de misterio o fantásticas.

¿Planifica con anticipación tus historias o te sientas y dejas que tu mente fluya en el momento? (es decir, ¿eres un planeador o un improvisador)?
Planifiqué la idea de mi historia, pero cuando avancé con los personajes los fuí escribiendo a medida que avanzaba la historia.

Además de escribir, ¿qué otras actividades le gusta hacer?
Dibujar, escuchar musica. Me gusta salir a caminar, hacer ejercicio. Tambien me gusta mucho cocinar, sobre todo pasteleria.

¿Hay algún consejo para las personas que se inician en el arte de escribir que le gustaría compartir?
Comenzar con ideas pequeñas. Leer mucho. Si se va a escribir en varios idiomas por ejemplo, es necesario, sobre todo cuando se observan las diferencias entre guiones, comillas, etc.
